Every morning when I sit down to work, I start by doing a line drawing with a wide Posca marker on 11 x 14 inch or larger heavy drawing paper. It’s a little like how a musician might warm up before playing. Later, if a particular day’s drawing appeals, I add color using Adobe Photoshop’s “fill tool.” And after that, I give the drawing a name and write a story about it.
